MN in line with CCE Guidelines
This year, the
CBSE has introduced a new framework for assessment—CCE
(Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation). This initiative is
a bold step to help educators consider all aspects of a
children’s personalities in the assessment process. However,
the new program brings with it many challenges for principals,
teachers, students, and parents.
Jiva is committed to helping educators personalize the
learning experience and make programs like CCE easier and more
effective. Thus, we are pleased to introduce to you the
Multiple Natures Test, a psychometric test that helps
identify the true nature of each learner, and identifies what
makes learners special.
According to Mr. Vineet Joshi, Chairmain of the CBSE,
“The report card of
evaluation should [also] reflect…Life Skills acquisition,
personality attributes, behaviour interests, attitudes, values
and proficiency in indoor as well as outdoor co-curricular
activities. It should facilitate in unravelling the latent
talent and reflect a true picture of the growth and profile of a
young learner.”
From CCE Teacher’s
Manual:
http://www.cbse.nic.in/cce/cce-manual/initial_pages.pdf
We feel the
Multiple Natures Test is the most powerful and accurate
test in the world to identify students’ personal attributes
and behaviour interests.
The CBSE also recommends schools offer psychometric tests
to aid the process of knowing students’ natures and helping them
select the right classes and streams:
“The schools have been
advised to follow multipronged approach for assigning subjects.
Aptitude test, scholastic performance, co-scholastic achievements,
all need to be given weight age.”
From CCE Frequently
Asked Questions Document:
http://www.cbse.nic.in/cce/faqs_on_CCE.pdf
As such, we are
pleased to be in line with the CBSE’s initiative on CCE, and that
we may provide this powerful tool that will make your endeavours
with CCE more easy, effective and efficient. |

MN Success Story |
|
Mitali Verma
Class 12, Dadri
|
|
The Challenge
Born into a family of doctors, Mitali too was expected to follow
suit. In fact, her father was pressurizing her to get into the
medical field, whereas she was not sure about it.
The Solution
Mitali took the Multiple Natures Test and the report showed up
Hospital Administrator as her ideal career option.
Mitali’s strong Administrative Nature and weak Healing Nature
proved that she was not cut out for the medical profession.
She
was advised to pursue an MBBS and follow that up with a Diploma in
Hospital Management. This recommendation was instantly liked by
both the parents as well as Mitali.
Mitali says, “My father wanted me to become an MBBS, but
I was against it. The option of Hospital Administrator gave me a
way out and was connected to my nature. My father is also
satisfied with my decision now.”
